Tutoring is available for International Baccalaureate students. 

Literature Course SL and HL:

  • Oral Presentation & Oral Commentary - guided composition and feedback in accordance with the IB Marking Criteria
  • Written Commentary - analysis of literary conventions in unseen texts (poetry and prose) 
  • Works in Translation - drafting and composition of essay according to IB Marking Criteria
  • Group of works - study of genre conventions in preparation for essay under exam conditions

Working in collaboration, both student and supervisor:

  • undertake selection of a text of suitable literary merit
  • devise an original Research Question which allows in depth analysis within the 4000 word limit
  • undertake the drafting and editing process according to IB requirements
  • referencing and final presentation
